After highschool I went to UF. Graduated in 1997 and then moved to North Carolina to go to seminary. In Seminary I met my husband. We moved to Texas for my husband's job at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and was there for 9 years. While in Texas we adopted our daughter, Rachel, and had our son Samuel. In 2013, we moved to Ohio when my husband accepted the job of President of Cedarville University. I stay busy being a homeschooling mom of two and a University President's wife.

My parents moved from Keystone when I graduated from college around 1997. My dad now lives in Gainesville and my mom is in Ormond Beach. My brother (who never went to school in Keystone) lives in Orange Park.
