Moved to Northeastern Ohio my senior year. Went to Fairmont State University in Fairmont, WV. Graduated in '82 with a BS in Business and an AAS in Retail Management. Went back to OH for a year and a half. In the middle of another COLD winter, I packed up and headed south. Landed in Myrtle Beach, SC. Met my husband, Eric. We were married in June 1986 and have 3 wonderful boys. Our oldest, Travis, graduated from college in May, 2010 with a degree in Sports Management. He is serving a 2 year internship with Campus Crusade for Christ and is currently in Kazakhstan teaching English and learning Russian. Our middle son, Corbin, is a Sophomore at the College of Charleston majoring in pre-law. Our youngest, Austin, is a Freshman at Coastal Carolina University majoring in Theatre Design. He wants to work in lighting and sound.
I worked retail for about 10 years when I had an opportunity to take a job at the local college, Coastal Carolina University. Worked there in Human Resources and Program Development for 13 years and earned my Master's Degree in Adult and Community Education in 1992 from the University of South Carolina. In 2003 I became a Realtor and have been riding the wave.
My parents followed me to MB in 1988, but in 1993, my mom passed away unexpectedly. My dad evenutally went back to FL and is living in Clearwater with his significant other. He is happy and healthy at age 78. My brother Jim is an attorney in Akron, OH, married with 2 girls and a boy. My brother Bob is a Computer Programmer living in Wallingford, CT, married with 2 boys and 2 girls. My sister Michelle is a Pharmacist living here in Myrtle Beach. She is married with 2 girls. We are blessed beyond belief and we give Praise to our Lord for that!
